The King Arthur in Gower Wins Best Pub & Bar for 2nd Time
The King Arthur in the Gower has been awarded "Best Pub & Bar" at the Swansea Bay Tourism Awards. It's the second time that they've won the award, winning last in 2008.
"We're really pleased to have won again" Catherine Michel from The King Arthur told us. "It's great to be recognised. We really are a traditional pub, complete with real open fire in the winter"
The King Arthur is of course far more than just a pub, also offering accommodation and spectacular weddings.
"Our weddings are tremendously popular with couples booking years in advance".
When asked about their experience with Castell Howell, Catherine told us "One word - fabulous! I just can't speak highly enough of them. Both our telesales representative, Clare, and our rep, Diane Hood, really look after us."
"Their Cash & Carry in Carmarthen is brilliant too. It's great to be able to see all of the products and get new ideas, and all of the staff there are so lovely. I really don't have a bad word to say about Castell Howell!"
